National Ranching Heritage Center at Lubbock, Texas

National Ranching Heritage Center

Discover the roots of ranching in Texas at this museum and outdoor park which features more than 50 historic and authentic buildings that date back to the 1700s. This historical park also houses a 44,000-square-foot museum with galleries and exhibits that showcase western life. Take snapshots of the center's sprawling 19 acres, browse historical photography and artifacts, or attend events like the center's Annual Ranch Day, or summer youth classes. Located just moments from the NRHC, Cotton Court Hotel makes it easy to check out this unique Lubbock attraction. After a day of exploring, come back to the hotel, sit around a firepit and swap stories about the day.
