Time and culture are important in our Presidential Suite that references the local culture of music. Inspired by Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, and all the traveling musicians that frequented Lubbock, Rottet Studio wanted a little Rock ‘n Roll and Country to populate the space. When the space was shaped, Rottet Studio designers imagined the Blues Brothers scene where they got the gig in the honky-tonk and played their set while protected from thrown beer bottles by the chicken wire screen in front of the stage. The western style paisley bandana inspired the painted "rug" that anchors the main seating area.
